Bry Sarte: Sustainable Infrastructure
Using his recently published book, Sustainable Infrastructure: The Guide to Green Engineering and Design, as a platform, author Bry Sarté will discuss regenerative water cycles, systems and buildings that teach, and the water energy-nexus. Looking at case studies from around the world, the talk will focus on the latest innovations in sustainable design and where the field is headed as we look to the future.
Bio:
Bry Sarté, founder of Sherwood Design Engineers and the Sherwood Institute, has years of international engineering experience ranging from master planning and infrastructure design to site planning for individual buildings and urban spaces. He has served as Principal Engineer for projects that range from the sustainably-oriented site design of the UC Berkeley School of Law, to the 5,000 acre ecological master plan for the Great Wall Villages in Northern China, and is the author of the soon to be published John Wiley & Sons book, Sustainable Infrastructure: The Guide to Green Engineering and Design.
