Birding for Beginners
Have you ever wondered which kind of bird was up in that tree, or what bird was creating that beautiful song? Join local bird expert Lisa Hug for an introduction to identifying birds. We will begin the day in the classroom learning the basics of bird identification and the use of binoculars. Then we'll practice these newly acquired skills in the field by identifying fall birds. Some slow hiking of 1-3 miles off trail over uneven terrain is required.
