While we will spend some time generating new work, this will primarily be a revising workshop. Our time will be dedicated to revising a poem or poems (maximum of 3). Bring a poem (or poems) that you like, but know is not yet finished. You will deeply consider and revise this poem (or poems) interrogating the structure and trying to complete the piece. We will experiment with tangible techniques to revise, so bring: 1) at least 3 paper copies of the poem (or poems) you will be revising 2) scissors 3) tape or glue 4) a writing implement of some kind 5) colored markers / pencils 6) a ruler (optional) Part 1 on Saturday, June 6 (1-3pm) is not a pre-requisite of Part 2. However, if you took Part 1, you are welcome to bring in one of the poems you generated in that workshop to revise in Part 2.
