This generative workshop will offer strategies to begin new poems. We'll do some brief reading, invite some discussion, and look to various mediums as catalysts for new work. These mediums may include: the visual, the moving image, and sound. Bring: 1) a writing implement of some kind (paper and pencil / computer / etc.) 2) colored markers / pencils (optional)
About the Instructor: Eleanor Eichenbaum is a writer with an interdisciplinary composing practice. She holds a two graduate degrees; in Architectural Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and in Literature from the University of South Florida, Saint Petersburg.
