Puppet Incident
The Austin Puppet Incident presents Puppet Pandemic!
Stay after Trouble Puppet Theater Company's _The Jungle_ for the inaugural performance of The Austin Puppet Incident, an evening of short puppet works--a puppet slam! This event will kick off by presenting Puppet Pandemic!, which features original puppet works created at the O'Neill Theater Center's National Puppetry Conference.
Alumni of the conference from New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago reunite with their Austin brethren to perform short-form puppet theater for your amusement and amazement. Marionettes, tabletop puppetry, object theatre, puppet film, a raffle with awesome puppet prizes, and more!
Profits from this showcase will fund The Alumni Scholarship that sends worthy puppeteers to the National Puppetry Conference so that performers across the country can continue to explore the infectious nature of puppetry. Tickets $15. Only $10 with admission to the _The Jungle_!
10:00 pm Friday and Saturday, March 25 and 26 The Austin Puppet Incident is presented by Trouble Puppet Theater Company and Glass Half Full Theatre and is supported in part by the Puppet Slam Network.
