Sweet Summer Solstice Potluck
Summer is coming and we're approaching the longest day of the year, the summer solstice! Enjoy the extra hours of sunshine at the annual Sweet Summer Solstice Potluck hosted by Slow Food Chicago and the Chicago Honey Co-op on June 20th!
(We're celebrating the solstice a day early since Sunday is Father's Day... you're welcome for the reminder. Bring the fathers in your life along!)
A highlight of our calendar every year, the Sweet Summer Solstice Potluck is a community picnic at Rancho Verde, the LEED-certified headquarters of Christy Webber Landscapes.
We'll be giving tours of the Chicago Honey Co-op hives installed on its green roof! There's also a swing set and plenty of room to play, and live music -- a great family-friendly event!
We'll provide a main course and beverages, you can bring chairs or a blanket, and a potluck dish for sharing salad, side dish or dessert.
We'll also be pouring beer from Revolution Brewing, wine from Candid Wines, and noshing on bread from Baker Miller!
Proceeds will benefit Slow Food Chicago and the Chicago Honey Co-Op Training Center.
RAIN DATE: Sunday, June 21 from 2-5pm
