Universally recognized as one of the top Beatboxers and lyricists on the west coast. He has been performing and touring in the Bay Area and beyond over the last 13 years and built a dedicated fan base of Hip-Hop connoisseurs. He is one of the front men and lead MC's for the Bay Area group "Felonious" with whom he has also released several albums. Infinite has shared the stage with such major Hip-Hop and R&B artists as L.L. Cool J, De La Soul, Black Eyed Peas, The Roots, Erykah Badu, Jam Master Jay, Mary K. Blige, Macy Gray, Shock G, Blackalicious, Jurassic 5, Living Legends, Rahzel, Planet Asia, Latyrx, Scratch and George Clinton. He is dedicated to preserving the voice of the youth and the culture of Hip Hop.

-MARIA MORRELL-
A Mexican, German, Lakota Sioux, California native and self taught singer/songwriter/guitarist. Maria has always used music to connect with her community, to overcome obstacles, to express her innermost self, and to inspire others to do the same. Her musical inspiration comes from many different genres and generations. She currently draws her inspiration from her performing arts community in the Bay Area.

-KHAFRE JAY-
is the Executive Director of Hip Hop For Change as well as a socially conscious rapper, singer and performance artist. In his mind, hip-hop and politics are synonymous there could not be one without the other. Khafre has performed in over 38 states and sharing stages with the likes of Method Man, Hieroglyphics and Casual.

"Born in the Bay" is an ongoing visual exhibition series. Each season, native Bay Area artists collaborate with top musicians, performers and chefs to create a unique community art event in the Mission District. The exhibition invites viewers in a popular but also neighborhood-friendly and socio-politically aware community space to view art created by SF Bay Area natives of diverse heritage and experience. Now more than ever ARTE Y TAPAS strives to create venue space for working Bay Area artists, with acute awareness and in defiance of an era of rapid music venue and art gallery closures. "Born in the Bay" celebrates a thriving SF Bay Area arts community and shines the spotlight on visual artists each with unique vision and techniques for observation and expression.

ANTHONY HALL is a self-taught artist working in whichever medium that will allow for the adequate exploration of thought and observation. Rather than the visual end result being the goal, he is more interested in the art making process as being a series of specific decisions with an emphasis on problem solving. His influences span many spectrums ranging from Flying Lotus and David Lynch, to John Coltrane and Hermann Hesse's Demian - observing the various artistic intricacies within these inspirations and accepting the challenge to create his own unique dialog.

AGANA Vanessa Espinoza aka "DJ AGANA", Bilingual MC, Graffiti Aerosoul Artist, Jewelry Maker, 3Digital Visual Effects Animator, Film Maker with TDK (The Dream Krew) and Few and Far Women. DJ AGANA is the loose translation of con ganas which means ones motivation, drive, desire and ambition to hungrily accomplish any task. For more than a decade she has exercised her knowledge of digital media and creative arts with young Bay Area artists encouraging them to tell their own unique stories through mural painting, film and animation. Her goal is to reach endless audiences with visual landscapes that cultivate art for thought and action while bringing visibility to current issues and topics that tell untold stories from a female perspective of resilience.

ARTE Y TAPAS is the unique SF-based Performance Series that showcases top Bay Area and International musicians, dancers, poets, MC's, visual artists and chefs. Performance artists include Whitney Myer, LA GENTE, Classical Revolution, Trio Garufa, Jordan & The Ritual, The Kilbanes, Jillian Picazo and Sariyah Idan just to name a few, and has featured emerging and established Bay Area actors, spoken word poets, singer-songwriters and MC's.
