When the State decides that there is something that the People should not know, it will go to any lengths to protect that secret. THE LETTERS by John W. Lowell, a drama of intimidation and disinformation set in Soviet Russia, is about the life-and-death struggle between those who suppress the truth and those who sacrifice everything to liberate it. The battle did not begin with WikiLeaks. Plays: October 7-22 at Center Stage in Santa Cruz. (10/7, 10/8, 10/13, 10/14, 10/15, 10/16 (matinee), 10/20, 10/21, and 10/22.
