Developing Ponds for Wildlife
Build a Pond for Wildlife, not Koi! Learn how a pond built to attract our native wildlife differs from a pond built for exotic Koi, Goldfish or Tropical Lilies. Kathy Biggs will give a PowerPoint presentation in the morning with handouts about native pond plants, followed by a visit to Pepperwood's natural pond(s) to observe wildlife and to appreciate the principles of wildlife ponds.
Note: The Biggs' CD Build a Pond for Wildlife and their dragonfly field guides and coloring books will be offered at a discounted price at the workshop.
