Nowrouz, the Zoroastrian celebration of the spring equinox is a holiday brimming with foods pregnant with meaning. From bright green herbs to apples to eggs and sweets every item consumed is done so for a specific reasons. Thankfully, local chef, teacher, and writer Samin Nosrat is here to unlock the meaning for us. During this lecture and tasting, you will gain a deeper understanding of Persian New Year and may never look at the spring equinox the same again!
