Three Penny Opera
Mac the knife marries Polly Peachum. This displeases her father, who controls the beggars of London, and he endeavours to have Mac hanged. His attempts are hindered by the fact that the Chief of Police, Tiger Brown, is Macs old army comrade. Still, Peachum exerts his influence and eventually gets Mac arrested and sentenced to hang. He escapes this fate moments before the execution only to be captured again.
"Out Class" are the new 6th Form Performing Arts group. We have had a busy first year performing at South Hill Theatre in Bracknell, South Street Theatre Reading as well a tour of Spain. In addition to this they provided entertainment for The Morrison's children's Christmas Party and various public showcases at the Academy. As well as working on Threepenny Opera the group are now working towards a number of corporate events as well.
