Meredith Davis in Concert

Meredith Davis found her calling when she began piano lessons in Kindergarten....this was her first step to falling in love with music. She grew up singing in church with her family and taught herself how to play the guitar at the age of 12. Since then, her musical endeavors have included placing in the top 20 for Cary Idol, followed by auditioning for American Idol in 2011 and many performances at various local venues, fundraisers, weddings, and community events including four main stage appearances at the Nashville Blooming Festival. She also had the opportunity to sing with her high school jazz band at Universal Studios, Orlando Florida.

No stranger to Nash Arts, Meredith has competed in Nash County's Got Talent placing in the top 10 with her sister Christian and taking her solo first place in 2012. She has also performed at Nash Arts with her family as part of the BPW Nashville Opry, opened for Nash County's Got Talent, and was featured on our homegrown stage last year during the Blooming Festival.

Named 2013's Distinguished Young Woman of Rocky Mount, Meredith is the daughter of Paul & Glenda Davis of Nashville, a graduate of Nash Central High School, and is currently a rising junior and Music Therapy major at East Carolina University.
