Join us for an evening with one of Seattle's leading chefs
UPDATE:  We have just gotten confirmation that we have a surprise guest chef to join Jason Wilson! Chef Eric Aber is from Wilmington, Delaware where he has been doing dinners with Hand of God Wines for the Mid-Atlantic Food and Wine Festival for the last three years.  Eric is town for vacation but when he heard about The VUDE and Jason, he said, "I need to be part of this party!"

On Monday, June 8th The VUDE is happy to announce we will be having an intimate evening of delicious food and wine with Chef Jason Wilson and Chef Eric Aber. Chef Wilson is one of the Northwest's most awarded chefs and Chef Aber is an acclaimed east coast chef from Delaware. They will prepare a multi-course meal (with a few surprises) that will be specially paired with Hand of God Wines.

The Chefs will discuss their work throughout the evening, sharing knowledge from careers that combined spans more than 30 years. You will also learn more about the Hand of God Wines which come from Mendoza, the heart of Argentina wine country. Attendees will receive a 20% discount on all wine purchases.

The menu is going to be simply DELISH.  Some teasers:
Deviled Eggs with Wagyu carpaccio and pickled onion.
Crudo of Hawaiian Snapper, grilled avocado, jalapeno and mustard greens.

Of course there will more and some surprises too.  Let's get that week and this summer started right with amazingly fresh and inventive dishes from some of the great ones.

About Chef Jason Wilson:
Chef Jason Wilson's Modern American Cuisine has garnered awards and notice from across the nation and beyond. Named "Best Chef Northwest 2010" from the James Beard Foundation and one of Food & Wines "Best New Chefs 2006,"
Jason continues to innovate and lead the culinary movement in the Northwest with his restaurants CRUSH, and MILLERS GUILD.

About Chef Eric Aber:
Chef Eric Aber has achieved great success in his business endeavors and in life. It all started when he was a young child and fell in love with food. It fueled his fire further, that this was the only time as a child he was actually allowed to be in control of knives and fire! However it was an early love, of not only cooking, but eating with family and friends, that has given him the passion he brings every day. These early expectations at home, in fine dining restaurants, large banquet settings, or a humble picnic of cold fried chicken on the side of the Brandywine River, left an indelible impression on him and has influences him throughout life. Chef Eric Aber is Owner and Lead Chef of Home Grown Café in Newark, DE.

Ticket price will be $125.00 (plus a service charge) for this amazing night!!!

NOTE: For legal reasons, this is a 'private event', not a 'public event', meaning that entrance is only allowed to Club members and you can't just walk in off the street.
