"Tish Oney Brings New Show - Divas And Masters Of Jazz to Palm Desert's Arthur Newman Theatre June 7, 2015.
Tish Oney has a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from USC's Thornton School of Music. Besides solo performances, Tish tours the US as a guest star with Symphony orchestras, and is a sought-after teacher of voice, piano, and performance technique. "We are very fortunate to have Tish take time from her busy schedule to be here, in fact, we've tried to have her for 3 years", says Les Michaels, the series producer. In this brand-new June 7th show, audiences will hear songs made famous by Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Judy Holiday, Mel Torme, Nat King Cole, and more, along with interesting facts about each artist.
