Birds Of Chicago
Join us for a full-band performance by the fabulous Birds of Chicago. For many years Allison Russell and Jeremy Lindsay's respective bands, Po' Girl and JT and the Clouds, have collaborated extensively, so getting together to form Birds of Chicagoa blend of mountain gospel, street corner doo-wop, and classic soulseemed a natural progression. Lindsay's fractured country-soul voice wrapped in Russell's silver and gold tones is a fine thing. Accompanied by just a banjo and a guitar, it's chilling. Fired by a full band, as it will be on this run, it's a full-tilt revival.
