Bath Roller Derby Girls - Wurzel Scrimmage
Awright, babbers? It's nearly time for Bath Roller Derby Girls to host their round of T4 Regional British Championships, and we're gearing up to throw a West Country double header to remember. Fire up your trac'or and polish your pitchfork; it's time for WURZEL SCRIMMAGE!
*** WHERE'S IT TO, THEN? ***
Join us for a proper lush afternoon of Champs action at Bath Sports & Leisure Centre. Centrally located, with it's own café all bouts will take place in the main Sports Hall. With all previous home games packed to the rafters, make sure you get down early to bag a good seat!
*** FIRST BOUT ***
In this opening bout, Bath Spartans come up against their neighbours, the epic Wiltshire Roller Derby. With everything to play for, both teams will be giving it their all for those precious Champs points. Proper job! (First Whistle 2pm)
*** SECOND BOUT ***
And if that wasn't enough tournament excitement for you next up, the mighty Grin 'N' Barum lock horns with those tricksy Riot City Ravens! Mint, innit. (First whistle 4.20pm)
*** ATTENTION CIDER DRINKERS ***
Please note that our venue is unlicensed. Sneaking booze in jeopardises BRDG's ability to host any public bouts in the future. Drink up ye cider, but please drink it up at the afterparty, with us :D
*** EXTRA FUN ***
In addition to these two family friendly bouts, we'll also have stalls for you to browse, a brilliant raffle, cake stall and some very special half time entertainment...
*** TICKETS ***
Tickets are £6 + booking fee. If we have any tickets left by bout day, you can risk buying them on the door (£8).
Young 'uns under 12 are free with an accompanying adult, but do require a ticket so we can keep track of numbers.
