THE WORK
Bandelion's new work started with Eric's fascination with a book of queer creation myths written by Andrew Ramer.

What would it be like to grow up with creation myths that celebrated all forms of identity and sexuality? What kind of world could we create with such a foundation of unconditional belonging?

As we worked with these myths, we became aware of all the times in our lives when we didn't belong--when we felt out of place and isolated. In this work, stories are collided with Ramer's myths, as well as original live music, lots of dance, lots of singing and a fecund art installation by Lisa Carroll.

The performances will be ceremonies of belonging, that simultaneously honor our wounds of isolation, and celebrate our connections beyond labels, categories and "shoulds."

INTIMATE AUDIENCE SIZE
To maintain an intimacy necessary for these ceremonies to spark transformation, we're keeping the audiences close to the same size as the performing ensemble, so tickets will be very limited. However, we want everyone that would like to come, to be able to. If one of the performances is sold out and you'd like to attend, email info@dandeliondancetheater.org to request a space. There will also be limited amounts of tickets on sale at the door before each show.

TICKET PRICES
We've made ticket prices at three different levels, and ask that everyone decide what they can afford and what value these performances have for them. Paying at any of the price levels is totally fine. And if you can't afford the discounted rate, let us know and we'll find a way for you to come.
