NYC Charter Bus for April 9th Farm Chores Day at Catskill Animal Sanctuary
Welcome Spring with Catskill Animal Sanctuary critters on Saturday, April 9th! It's our big farm chores work day: help with painting, landscaping, tending the organic garden, and demolition projects, all while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley. Founder/Director Kathy Stevens will introduce you to many of our rescued animal friends, and Chef Kevin Archer will cook up a vegan feast for lunch.
The NYC Charter Bus will depart at 7:45am SHARP from 20 East 9th Street (corner of University Place) in downtown Manhattan, and should arrive at CAS by 10:00am. The bus will depart CAS at 4:00pm and make one drop-off back at 20 East 9th Street. The West 4th Street/Washington Square, 8th Street/NYU, Astor Place, and 14th Street/Union Square subway stops are within easy walking distance. Please allow enough travel time since the bus will leave at exactly 7:45am.
Wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty and hiking or work boots, and consider bringing a clean change of clothing for the ride home. The work day will take place rain or shine.
Seats on the charter bus are limited, so don't wait! We hope you join us for the fun!
Feel free to contact Michelle Alvarez, Outreach Director, at michelle@casanctuary.org or 917-414-9428 with any questions. www.CASanctuary.org.
