Join your colleagues from AIA|Palomar, AIA|Orange County and AIA|San Diego as we tour one of the most innovative fabrication plants in Southern California Weiland Sliding Doors and Windows, Inc. of Oceanside CA (a division of Andersen Doors & Windows) featuring oversize products and the firm's architectural collection.
Participants will be treated to a comprehensive experience that will lead to enhanced understanding of glazing options for oversize/large sliding doors and windows (such as IG, triple pane, low-E and panel), the characteristics and features of liftside and folding doors, how to identify parts and components containing recycled content, how to recognize local sourcing and how to better appreciate the water performance capabilities of flush bottom tracks.
