Lighting Design Class
Have you ever wondered what goes into lighting staged events such as theatrical productions, concerts, and even film? In only two short sessions, instructor Joshua Maxwell will explain the process, as well as providing tools and experience to help anyone interested in lighting.
Session One - Friday June 5th, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Brown Centre for the Creative Arts Lighting Design Theory Students will learn the basics of designing light for stage and film.
Session Two - Sunday June 7th, 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at The Plaza Theatre Lighting Production Students will gain valuable experience working with lights as PCT prepares for its next production: "Damn Yankees."
Cost: $20 (Includes meals served at both sessions) Limited scholarships are available. Please contact the PCT Box Office for more information. Disclaimer: Please remember that stage lighting requires working from heights. Parents are also cautioned. While safety will be an important part of the course, consideration should be given to whether your child can be responsible while working with electricity.
