(Re)claiming your Inner Fire!

Come join us for a workshop where we'll embody our core personal power through yoga, and deepen our understanding of plant medicine to help us digest and nourish our whole selves. Bring your curiosity and desire to explore what we can learn from our own bodies.

First, we'll practice yoga in a way that helps ignite our inner fire while staying grounded and connected to our heart and desires. Heat can help us access our unique strengths, our anger and our joy. Together with movement, heat can flush out and transform old stories of ourselves that are no longer serving us, offering us a cleansing. Focus poses include abdominals, twists and lunges. Previous yoga experience is not required and all people are welcome.

After our time exploring yoga to increase our inner fire, we will learn about five herbs that support us in raising our core heat. We will work with these plants both physically for improved digestion, and energetically for empowerment and vitality.

This is a collaboration between Shooting Star Botanicals and Queer & Trans Yoga teacher, Alison Lin. Space is limited to 15 participants, RSVP soon!
