Doxacon Seattle 2015: Where Faith and Truth Meet Science Fiction and Fantasy
July 17th 5:00 pm to July 19th 2:30 pm
Brockey Center South Seattle College
**Are you a Christian who enjoys speculative fiction (i.e. science fiction and/or fantasy)? Are you tired of scifi/fantasy/gaming conventions that ignore the Christian dimensions of these works?**
In the shadow of Mount Rainier, between the magnificent Cascades and the majestic Olympics, the Geek Orthodox of Seattle want you to join us for a weekend of services, presentations, and fellowship. Doxacon Seattle promises to be an amazing opportunity for learning and deepening our faith.
Join us for a weekend of services, presentations, and just plain geeking out. Blessed by Archbishop BENJAMIN of the Orthodox Church in America, and with volunteers from jurisdictions all over the Pacific Northwest, Doxacon Seattle promises to be an amazing opportunity for fellowship, learning, and deepening our faith, as we look at science fiction and fantasy popular culture through a Christian lens.
