fresNO dance COlective & Perpetual Motion Oklahoma
Special 1.5 hour modern dance concert, featuring Fresno's resident professional modern dance company, fresNO dance COllective (NOCO) and guest company PERPETUAL MOTION DANCE from Oklahoma! NEW works from both companies will be presented, including AERIAL hoops & harnesses. Do not miss!
NOCO ROGUE SHOW, a special 1.5 hour concert is a shared concert with aerial & modern dance guest company, Perpetual Motion Dance, Oklahoma. Artistic Director, Amy Querin, describes NO CO ROGUE SHOW as, "a wild display of dance athleticism, featuring modern and aerial dance works from local and national choreographers. This collaborative concert is the quintessential example of my mission to help produce Fresno dance artists, develop emerging dance talent, and enrich the arts in the Fresno metropolitan area." NOCO will premier dance works by Artistic Director, Amy Querin, local guest choreographers: Alyssa Black, Danny Moua, Spencer Ruell, Cristal Tiscareno, & national guest choreographer: Jhon Stronks. The concert will also premier NOCO's community outreach project, an original dance work by Artistic Director, Amy Querin performed by select local high school students.
Modern dance company fresNO dance COllective (NOCO) looks forward to its return to the ROGUE festival. Last year's ROGUE show marked the Fresno premier of this new dance company (only 8 weeks old at its premier). At the completion of its debut year, NOCO celebrates the completion of over 20 concert performances, including 4 out of state events & 3 locally produced shows, master classes and community outreach projects; NOCO features 10 locally trained performers.
