Hometown Hootenanny: Honky Tonkin' Hootenanny
The legends of Texas dancehalls and modern honky-tonks will be well-represented in the March 25 "Honky Tonkin' Hootenanny," at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Everett Theatre.
From the gotta-move-your-feet western swing of Bob Wills, up to modern-day two-step favorites by Dwight Yoakam and Garth Brooks, the Hootenanny features the Hometown Band, returning favorites the Rachel Mae Band, plus new discoveries that include the Boys of Greenwood Glen and local vocalists Leah Stevens and Maureen O'Sullivan. The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett.
