Breastfeeding Coalition of Washington 2011 Awards Ceremony and Presentation
The Breastfeeding Coalition of Washington (BCW) Awards highlight a Washington business and two individuals who have shown leadership in, and significantly contributed to, promoting and supporting breastfeeding as a vital part of the health and development of children and their families. The awards to be presented this year are the Outstanding Employer Award, The Nancy Danoff,MD, Spirit of Service Award and the MaryAnn O'Hara,MD, Physician Leadership Award.
In addition to the awards presentation, Dr Isabella Knox, MD, EdM, neonatologist at UW Medical Center and Seattle Children's Hospital, will speak at the event on the increasing use of donor breast milk in the hospital. Continuing Education Credits have been applied for and the
event includes a no-host bar and appetizers.
Note: Cost to attend this event is $25 unless you are a BCW Steering Committee member AND attend the BCW Annual Meeting the morning of April 20th. If both of these apply, your admission is $10.
