John Popper and the Duskray Troubadours (7pm Show)
KBAC and Project 101.5Present! John Popper, the enigmatic front-man of multi-platinum Grammy winners, Blues Traveler, emerges with an all new solo album featuring 12 original tracks. This album has Santa Fe influence all over it featuring Santa Feans Jono Manson, Steve Lindsay and Mark Clark. The album was recorded here at Jono's Kitchen Sink studio. Additionally Jono co-wrote eight of the 12 tracks. Best known for crafting some of the most memorable songs of the '90's including 'Run-Around' and 'Hook', John Popper's new project is a labor of love. It is new, soulful and rootsy. Having formed Blues Traveler in the late '80's, he was influential in bringing the band's domestic sales tally to over 8 million sold in their storied 25 year career. John Popper & The Duskray Troubadours are appearing Monday, March 14th for two shows at Santa Fe Performance Exchange, 7 Caliente Rd. Eldorado in La Tienda Shopping Center. 505-466-3116 Show Times: This is the first show, beginning at 7 pm. There will also be a 9:30 show requiring a separate ticket.
