Nicki Jackowska: Behold
This event arises from Nicki Jackowska's poem Behold, and to make an artistic contribution to the 70th Anniversary Year of the liberation of Europe's Concentration Camps. The event is not based on memorial, but the dedication of contemporary artists to evoke aspects of the Holocaust by means of their own form of expression, their own artistic expertise. The evening's sequence will tell it's own story.
Under the Influence is a Nightingale initiative that invites creative people to explore the themes that have inspired and affected them over the course of their careers. This will be a special evening of dance, film, music, improvised vocals, pipes and collaborations.
