Music at the BoatShop: Rio Con Brio
The Gig Harbor BoatShop (at the historic Eddon Boatyard) is proud to present nationally-renowned Brazilian mandolin and guitar string duo Rio Con Brio, "...a beautiful fusion of Brazilian rhythm, classical technique and jazz improvisation..." Rio Con Brio has won the attention of traditional and jazz music lovers for their interpretation of Brazilian choro music, the early 20th century street and cafe/club music of Rio de Janeiro.
There will be limited seating for this intimate event, so reserve your tickets early. Tickets are $20, or $15 for BoatShop members. Show starts at 5 pm (run time, approx. 2 hours with short intermission). Doors will open at 4:30 pm. Open seating. CDs will be available for sale.
