The Mama Rags and Duke Evers land at SPACECRAFT
We couldn't be more pleased to welcome The Mama Rags and Duke Evers! Doors at 7:30, show 8:00pm
The Mama Rags formed in the Fall of 2013 and, although still young, have already made a strong name for themselves from their hometown of Seattle. Inspired by the great rock bands of the late-60s and early-70s heyday, the band aspires to bring the vintage sound of quality rock & roll to their modern audience. Combining hard rock with hints of garage, psychedelic, country, and blues, The Mama Rags create a well-rounded and unique sound that leaves you thinking you were born into the wrong time period.
"I don't know how to put it in a way that will seem as un-ironic as their tribute to southern rock... Everyone else is going to cliché-compare them to the Byrds or Neil Young, but these dudes are dead ringers for that sound that morphed out of the early muscle shoals recordings." - The Stranger
