HANA HOU Saturday, 03.05.11. Back by popular demand... Maui's MAOLI performs with an encore LIVE performance with San Francisco's MY PEOPLES and special guests DJ Nappy & Chubbs!!!

MAOLI in Hawaiian means "native" which represents who they are and where they are from. The 5 member band was formed in 2008 with Glenn Awong on lead vocals and guitar, Cory Lum on vocals and guitar, Hubert Kaina on vocals and keys, Kakana Akiu Corpuz on bass and Matthew Casil on drums. They all share a strong passion for Island Reggae music at an early age and had their first all-original CD release of "Groovin". Their lead single "No One" soon became the #1 requested song in every major top radio station in the state of Hawaii. The other song hits from their album are "Write Me A Letter" and "So Incredible".

MAOLI continues to strive to become a staple group in Hawaii's island reggae scene by following with their latest CD release, "Rock Easy" in 2010. It contains ten new originals written and composed by lead singer and songwriter Glenn Awong. With these true and unique island love songs like "Breaking My Heart", "Love Song", "Whisper", "Tell Me", "Send You My Love", "Minds At Ease" and "You In My Life", this album will soon be on Hawaii's radio hits.

UPDATE... Hawaii local boy chef Sean, will be serving Grilled Mochiko Chicken and Teri-beef Paninis w/mac salad.
