One Day Spinning Babies Workshop
Gail Tully, CPM, CD(DONA) presents her 6-hour MEAC approved Spinning Babies Workshop (8:45 am arrival, 9 start time, to 4:30 pm total time) for the childbirth professional on the Spinning Babies approach to Optimal Fetal Positioning. Pregnancy and labor techniques.
Visual aids and demonstrations with small group practice. Wear comfortable clothes so you can move and get on the floor; and please, no perfume, no smoking.
Belly Mapping, labor preparation, birth progress, cephalopelvic disproportion; working with a stall in labor; second stage; avoiding breech and posterior presentations before labor, asynclitism and occiput posterior labors.

Spinning Babies Workshop has 6 MEAC credits (March 23, 2011, 9-4:30)
This one day workshop is $112. Box lunch is available.
There is limited practice time for these workshops due to requests that more of the local community can attend.
Bring a pillow, and if you have a Rebozo woven scarf, bring that, if not, don't worry, we only need half the class to bring one. We'll need a few birth balls and two massage tables for Wed.
Wear comfy clothes, no jeans, and try to avoid pants with decorative seams that cross the sacrum (back) like jeans have.
Please do not wear perfume or scented make-up.
Cancelation: Choice 1) Give your registration to a friend and have them pay you and have them tell Gail before class of the switch. Choice 2) Ask for a refund and tell Melody to give your spot to someone on the waiting list, a return fee will be charged. Choice 3) No show with no contact means no refund!! Email!! Or call Melody that morning if you are at a birth!
Please don't register if you have a baby to bring. I'm sorry, the class is limited and its long and babies have better things to do for their development than spend two days in a room with a large group. Thanks and I truly am sorry for the inconvenience.
I'll likely be back before too long as I'm heading to Texas again in Feb. 2012.
