Always...Patsy Cline

International hit musical "Always Patsy Cline" comes to the Lowcountry this July and brings with it an extraordinary Nashville cast. The show is based on the true story of Cline's friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death.

The musical play, complete with down home country humor, true emotion and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy' unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight, 27 songs in all. The show's title was inspired by Cline's letters to Seger, which were consistently signed "Love ALWAYS Patsy Cline."

This production will feature Nashville singer songwriter Sara Catherine Wheatley in the title role, a role she has played numerous times across the country. 19 year cast member of HEE HAW and TV LAND Entertainer's Award winner Misty Rowe will bring life to the role of Louise Seger, a performance she has given to rave reviews over 200 times in recent years. In addition to her work on Hee Haw, Rowe's career has afforded her the opportunity to share the screen with a starry list that features Mel Brooks, Billy Crystal and the cast of Happy Days, on which she appeared in the early seasons.
