Energy Literacy and Bioenergy
Developing clean energy technologies will be a critical issue for the next generation of scientists and engineers. Regardless of career choice, energy literacy is important for all students. Biofuels and bioenergy have made great advancements in recent years and are gaining much attention both nationally and locally.
This workshop, led by instructors of the Science Math and Investigative Learning Experiences program at Oregon State University, will give teachers the tools to integrate lessons about biofuels and bioenergy into their classroom. Teachers will be guided through hands-on lessons targeted at 6-12th grade.
$20 for 7 Washington Science Teacher Association (WSTA)clock hours (please bring a check to the event)
