Funny and endearing A down-on-his luck baker, Nat, played by Jonathan Pryce, is desperate to save his business. His customers are dying off, his sons have no interest in the bakery and a hostile businessman has his own greedy plans for the property. In a pinch, Nat hires Ayyash, a refugee from Darfur, to assist with the bakery's daily chores. Ayyash also sells cannabis on the side. When he accidently drops his stash into the dough, the challah starts flying off the shelf, and an unlikely friendship forms between the old Jewish baker and his young Muslim apprentice.
