Dance into Summer culminates The PGK Project's annual contemporary dance Summer Intensive and features performances by an array of fantastic dancers from across the US and Abroad performing a wild mix of PGK Repertory under the stars in beautiful Balboa Park's Spanish Village. The Intensive focuses on training in ballet and contemporary techniques for intermediate and advanced dancers, choreographers, students, and professionals.
Dance into Summer takes place on Friday, June 26th at 7:30 PM at Spanish Village Art Center (1770 Village Place, San Diego, CA 92101) located next to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, opposite the San Diego Natural History Museum in Balboa Park. Suitable for all ages. Wheelchair accessible.

The PGK Project is a nonprofit arts organization established in 1994 and based in San Diego since 2002. PGK's mission is to produce affordable dance performances of the highest quality that represent diversity and community in entertaining, innovative ways. The PGK Dance Project contemporary repertory company performs regionally, nationally, and tours internationally as a U.S. State Department Cultural Envoy. PGK produces San Diego Dances in non-traditional venues since 2009 and the Dance on the Edge Festival sponsored by Mission Federal Credit Union at ArtWalk Little Italy since 2012. In addition to the Summer Intensive, programs include The PGK Dance Project TOO apprentice company and The Ascend Project, a dance/work-study program for low-income young adults.
