24 Days
Heart-wrenching One of the ugliest crimes in recent memory, the kidnapping and gruesome murder of Ilan Halimi, a young French Jew, shocked France and made frontpage news around the world. 24 DAYS follows the police as they mishandle negotiations with the kidnappers who demand an enormous ransom in the belief that all Jews have money. Exceptionally well-acted, the film spares audiences graphic torture scenes while it provides a jolting glimpse at anti-Semitism in current day France.
