WomenSing: Southern Exposure III
WomenSing culminates their exploration of Latin American music with traditional and unexpected gems, this time exclusively from the Americas. Wit and style are present in Emma Lou Diemer's Five Limericks and we'll feed your soul with some Southern Camp Meeting songs. We share the stage with Quinteto Latino when we premiere a newly composed work for woodwind quintet and women's voices by José Luis Hurtado. Come hear an unexpectedly varied gamut of instrumental colors complementing our traditional sound.
