The Balboa Theatre's 85th Birthday Bash!
This year's gala will feature a rarely seen Rudolph Valentino feature made in San Francisco, MORAN OF THE LADY LETTY. Frederick Hodges will accompany with an original music score. There will be short subjects, live vaudeville featuring singer Linda Kosut and magician James Hamilton. There will be prizes, a special birthday cake created by Diane Boate and lively libations to wash it down. Several authors will join us to sign their books and every attendee will go home with a party favor worth at least $20 courtesy of http://www.emovieposter.com/.
The show starts at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30.
So circle Sunday, March 6 at 7pm on your calendar. Gather your family and friends and consider dressing up in your best 1920s outfits or as a movie star of the era.
