Jazz-A-F!RE - May 2015
Join us and celebrate the longer days of summer with a HOT session of JAZZ-A-F!RE on May 31, 2015 - we are going to be jamming and jazzing it up from 3-6pm!! Doors will open at 2:30 pm.
You will experience the finest in straight-ahead jazz music hosted by the Memphis Black Arts Alliance's FireHouse Community Arts Center while you enjoy bar & food service from Memphis Sounds Grill at 22 North Third St. below the Econo Lodge Hotel.
(Stair Challenged may enter via ramp from the rear entrance in Court St Parking Garage)
This month's Jazz-A-F!RE will be featuring the amazing vocals of Cequita "Monique" from Precious Cargo.
Accompanying her will be the Jazz-A-F!RE Band, consisting of FireHouse Academy faculty member, Kent Suggs (bass), along with other members of Prime Cut Band Audie Smith (piano) and Andre' Holman (drums).
