Sentimental Journeys: A Cabaret Travelogue" starring Kevin Wood
In the show, based on Mr. Wood's life-long love of travel, he plays 'tour guide' as he shares heart-warming stories, both real and fictional, that are both poignant and comedic. The stories are intertwined with a variety of music featuring standards from the Great American Songbook, Broadway, and some funny and original parody's. The show received great reviews and standing ovations recently at Davenport's in Chicago, the Skokie Theatre in Skokie, and the Empire Stage in Ft. Lauderdale. Joining Kevin for the May 3rd show will be local pianist, Joel Baker on the baby grand.
