The Lizard Lounge is proud to welcome back the fun loving band of lunatics - LUDDY MUSSY! Performing every Tuesday night and featuring a special guest each week.
Luddy Mussy is colorful, almost cartoonish music made by lunatics. With eccentric takes on genres ranging from blues, modern rock, surf rock and folk, Luddy serves up an original little something for any musical palate. An energetic party band with a songwritery twist, Luddy has ripped off various bands, from the Rolling Stones to the B-52s, with basically no regard for copyright laws. As a result, the band currently resides on a barge in international waters.
TONIGHT'S GUEST: JARED SALVATORE
Bringing a pop sensibility to the singer-songwriter world, and a lyric-driven introspectiveness to the pop world, Jared Salvatore has spent many years as a co-writer on numerous independent releases, fine tuning his skills to deliver an album showcasing his soulful vocals, his gift as a vocalist, guitar player, and pianist.
Like many natural troubadours, Salvatore doesn't remember a time without music. By the age of 18, he realized it was his calling and began studying guitar and voice, in addition to piano which he'd played since the age of 5. Within two years, he found himself attending Berklee College of Music and playing in various Boston-based bands, as varied as progressive rock band The Zero Four, funk/jazz ensemble Flatbush Park Leisure Group, and hard rock band Lansdowne.
