Thompson Island Sunset Adventure
Enjoy seeing the fields, forests and salt marsh on one of the larger islands in Boston Harbor. Today it is the home of the Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center. Although privately owned it is part of the BHI National and State Park. Pack a picnic for your evening time on this beautiful island. The image on the BPT site is from the 1852 Gleason's Pictorial of the Boston Farm and Trade School.
The boat will land on the island dock. There are rest room facilities available on the island but not on the vessel. It is a brief boat ride to Thompson Island; approximately 30 minutes.
