RALLY to Re-Elect Kshama Sawant w/Chris Hedges, Jill Stein, Pramila Jayapal and more! Building an Alternative to Corporate Politics
From the streets of Baltimore to the growing movement for $15, there's a revolt breaking out against Wall Street and the endemic inequality and racism generated by its system. With growing anger at the establishments of both main political parties, millions are looking for an alternative.
Since her election in 2013, Councilmember Sawant has led the opposition to the corporate agenda in Seattle. An unapologetic fighter for working people, she refuses all corporate donations and only accepts the average worker's wage.
Her reelection this year will be a referendum on working-class politics - pitting our grassroots movement against the corporate political establishment, which wants nothing more than to unseat Kshama and return City Hall to business as usual.
Join Chris Hedges, Jill Stein, WA State Senator Pramila Jayapal, SEIU 775 President David Rolf, anti-racism community organizer Dustin Washington and more at this historic rally to build the movement for working class politics. Let's begin by re-electing Kshama Sawant!
