A Sensory Feast Workshop #3: TASTE
In this in-depth class on South East Asian flavor profiles, food writer and chef-instructor Thy Tran will introduce you to fundamental ingredients in South East Asian pantries. A brief discussion on flavor theory will provide the foundation for tasting exercises in which you'll learn how various herbs, spices and sauces transform and balance each other. To apply the lessons, you'll prepare your own personal dipping sauce variations for noodles, which we will slurp up at the end of class.
