Synopsis:
Deep in the bayous of Louisiana exists a unique place, not a city, not a town, but a slight stretch of land known as Little Chenier.
Little Chenier is a Cajun story of two brothers who have no one but each other. Living on a houseboat in the bayou, Beaux Dupruis and his mentally handicapped brother Pemon try to make ends meet at their local bait shop. The two live a simple life until Pemon is accused of a crime in the town and Beaux must protect his brother against all odds. With a stellar indie cast, Jonathan Schaech (That Thing You Do), Fred Koehler (Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood) Clifton Collins, Jr. (Capote, Traffic) and Chris Mulkey (North Country, Radio), Little Chenier takes you on a poetic journey into the hearts and homes of all who live there.
