With Light Perpetual
Central City Chorus will finish its 34th Season with the choral music of Maurice Duruflé, featuring his luminous Requiem (in the version for organ, cello obbligato, mezzo-soprano soloist, and choir) and other beloved works like his setting of Ubi caritas, Notre Père, and the Choral varié sur le thème du 'Veni Creator Spiritus'. The concert will take place on Saturday, June 6, at 7:30 pm at the Church of St. Ignatius of Antioch on 87th Street (at West End Avenue) in New York City. Joining the Chorus will be organist Stephen Tharp, cellist Annabel Gordon, and mezzo-soprano Catherine Hedberg.
