Hear the incredible stories of locals Phansy Peang--Cambodian holocaust survivor-- Gene Lentzner --legendary philanthropist--and Capt. Manny Aschemeyer, whose tales of the sea will thrill and amaze you!

Long Beach Polytechnic High School Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Andy Osman, will perform music selected to reflect the themes of this year's Book Week: personal storytelling and the art of listening.
