DC: The Princess Bride: a burlesque tribute of unusual size
"Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles..." Get ready for Glit-O-Rama Productions' next great adventure at The Bier Baron Tavern on Saturday June 20, 8 pm -- "The Princess Bride: a burlesque tribute of unusual size"!
This show will use modern music to symbolize the scenes of this beloved film. Richmond's "Godfather of Comedy" Ray Bullock will portray the Grandfather, telling the tale to the audience, with burlesque and variety performances from:
Zadora Zaftig- the full-bodied chocolate stout; Moxie LaBouche - one *hot* mess; Bella La Blanc - the Stepford Wife gone wild; Ego Von Hubris - full-time gentleman, part-time coffee pot; Sally Starrdust - a true shooting star; Dante the Inferno- the right tool for the job; Xander Lovecraft - burlesque mercenary for hire.
No one will be seated during the harrowing mawidge ceremony.
