ERIN HARPE AND THE DELTA SWINGERS
Charismatic singer and guitarist Erin Harpe, along with her band the Delta Swingers, have become favorites around New England, with a growing fan base around the world. Their unique brand of dance music is rooted in vintage 1930's Mississippi delta blues, then shaken and stirred with other genres like soul, funk, and reggae, evoking a wild southern juke joint where the whiskey and gin are flowing and everybody's dancing.

But Michael Dion felt it was the right move even before he knew it was the right move and he says his new band, Daemon Chili, is the better for it." remarks music critic Chad Berndston in his summation of the band.
Daemon Chili was forged by Michael Dion in March of 2012. At the time, Dion was still an active member of the Lowell, MA-based, Americana/Roots band Hot Day at the Zoo, but due to growing artistic differences, he was forced to look outside the band to satisfy his diverse musical tastes. After finally leaving the band in August of 2013, Daemon Chili became his primary musical outlet. The lineup includes Dion on acoustic guitar/harmonica/vocals, Jason Morretti (Cotton Mouth) electric guitar, Jay Samiagio (Cotton Mouth) bass, Jay Breen (Freelance Bishops) drums, Steve Benson (Freelance Bishops) pedal steel & electric mandolin. The sound is decidedly more aggressive than Dion's former outfit, yet the execution is more relaxed and patient. The music is unquestionably blues-based coupled with an outlaw attitude and fortified with a roots-rock sensibility.
