Queer writers and artists, Luke Dani Blue, Dan Lau, Migueltzinta Solis, and Jasmine Sufi, present, Boomtown, a literary reading and commemorative chapbook release party. Hailing from diverse literary traditions ranging from performance poetry to narrative fiction, these Bay area writers have spent the past year creating work informed by San Francisco's periods of upheaval and transformationpast and presentcreating tonal landscapes and forming new layers of cultural memory. Through these exercises of research, recall, and reimagining, these poets bring attention to the nuanced nature of change, gentrification, and the creation and erasure of culture.
